At the conclusion of the 2018-2019 school year, after seven years of service as Chancellor of the West Valley- Mission Community College District, the District's Chancellor retired. My name is A. Marie Young. I was a mathematics professor at Solano Community College (SCC) 1970-2005 and have been a Trustee at SCC (2006-present, 2020). I was the president of the SCC Governing Board in 2015 when Mr. Arterberry surfaced out of his retirement to serve as interim Superintendent-Preident as the college was searching for a full time Superintendent-President.
